Bell & Gossett E-1531 Pumps

The E-1531 series is commonly used in larger commercial HVAC and hydronic applications where higher flow and head requirements call for a larger centrifugal pump.

The E-1531 features a heavy-duty cast iron or ductile iron volute, stainless steel shaft sleeve, balanced impeller and back pull-out design. Bell & Gossett also offers an epoxy-coated internal cast iron component option for specific applications. (Xylem)

Optional Epoxy Coating for Pool Applications

One of the specialized options we offer is epoxy coating for E-1531 pumps being used in pool applications.

Pool water can create a more demanding environment for pump components than a typical closed-loop hydronic system. Depending on the application and water chemistry, additional protection of internal cast iron components may be desirable.

We can provide an epoxy-coated E-1531 assembly as an option for suitable pool applications.

This can be particularly useful for commercial pools, aquatic facilities and other applications where the pump will be exposed to pool water.

It is important to properly evaluate the application, water chemistry and coating requirements before selecting this option. Our team can help determine whether an epoxy-coated pump is appropriate for the system.
