Bell & Gossett Series e-1531 5BD

Bell & Gossett e-1531 5BD pumps replace the old Bell & Gossett 1531 5BB and 1531 5BC pumps. The e-1531 pumps have a re-designed volute, providing improved hydraulic performance while maintaining the same “piping-in” dimensions as the old 1531 pumps, thereby allowing for easy replacement. The pumps are base-mounted, end-suction, and close-coupled with a heavy duty cast iron volute rated to 175 psi working pressure. They feature an internally flushed mechanical seal that ensures maximum seal face lubrication, heat dissipation, and debris removal without the need for vulnerable, external flush tubing. Its back pull-out design allows for relatively easy maintenance. An ISA G6.3 balanced stainless steel impeller provides quiet, vibration-free performance.
