he Armstrong Pump S-55-3 is a 1/2 HP, three phase circulator pump that features a radially-split bronze-fitted body, oversized stainless steel “maintenance free” shaft, centrifugal non-ferrous impeller, sintered silicon carbide seal, and modular construction. This model has a shaft and bearing module that can be easily removed and replaced. Armstrong Pump Series S & H circulator pump deploy a proven fixed-speed design that is cost-effective, durable, and easy to maintain. Models are available in the traditional sleeve-bearing design as well as the new, permanently-lubricated, maintenance-free design. The three piece modular construction, which uses a universal replacement shaft and bearing module, and the back pull-out design allows for easy replacement of wear components. Series S & H in-line circulators are suitable for applications such as hydronic heating and cooling, domestic water systems, multi-stage zoning, and general industrial service.
