The Bell & Gossett P50716 is a trimmable bronze impeller with a 7″ outside diameter. It repairs Series 1510 and 1531 end suction pump models 2-1/2AB (1-1/4″ shaft) and 3126T. The impeller is a rotating component within the pump casing that transfers mechanical energy from the motor to the pumped fluid. The primary purpose of a pump impeller is to convert the rotational energy from the motor into kinetic energy in the fluid. As the impeller rotates, it creates a centrifugal force that pushes the fluid away from the center of rotation, causing it to move outward and thus create flow.
